Warner Brothers and Facebook have formed a partnership for an on-demand service on the social network. First up, Chris Nolan's "The Dark Knight." For 30 Facebook credits, you will be able to watch the movie as many times as you want in a limited period of time (48 hours).
For those who want to check it out, you can go here.
OK, I won't do this for a few reasons. First, I have the DVD. Second, if I didn't have the movie, I could always rent it from Netflix (or borrow it from a friend who has it). Third, the movie has been out long enough to be on basic cable (TNT). There are some possibilities with this and I get that the studio is trying to capitalize on the popularity of Facebook. There are other things can do besides show a movie that almost two years old.
